Shore is painter from Chicago. She deftly melds Imagist techniques from the past into the present with her drop shadow abstract forms painted on canvas and paper in her latest exhibition. The quality of the line work and color modulation is sublime. I get the feeling that the drop shadow element referencing the three dimensional illusion might be leading to ideas for sculpture.
