Miriam is a FB friend and an excellent painter from California. I have been following her work for a few years now and am always excited to see what she will find interesting to paint. Her latest work is based along the lines of figure/landscape but with a decidedly abstract twist. The spontaneity of her paint application and thoughtful compositions are inviting and contemplative. She reminds of a poet as she weaves specificity and ambiguity together in her work. I hope you viewers agree and start following her as well.
